Description:

This figurative painting is created on a mid-sized vintage Persian carpet that I bought from a 90-year-old woman, an artist from Berlin, Germany. The artwork portrays a non-binary person I met and photographed in my studio—a model and dance artist from France.
The painting aims to capture the vulnerable side of an individual and to emphasize that it is okay to be different. It serves as an example that a cis man can have a feminine side and should feel comfortable showing it. This piece is about non-binary people and the importance of visibility, showcasing that a person with a penis can also embrace and express their feminine side. It encourages living authentically and not being afraid to show one's true self to the world.
